MAXINE'S DAYCARE INC.

CHILD CARE PROGRAMS & SERVICES

Programs

Maxine's Daycare offers programs for Infants, Toddlers, Preschoolers, and School Age students.

Curriculum

Teachers complete weekly lesson plans aligned to both the state standards and the standards of Maxine's Daycare. Our curriculum is revised annually based on teacher and parent feedback to form our Educational Framework.

Parent – Teacher conferences occur every Fall and Spring. Teachers utilize Teaching Strategies / Creative Curriculum to complete ongoing assessment. This support provides the key to planning appropriate early childhood learning experiences.

Positive Reinforcement

Maxine's Daycare staff  participate in positive reinforcement to teach and promote positive behavior in all students. The children are encouraged to follow three universal expectations- be safe, be kind, be responsible. We believe in enhancing our supportive environment for children by developing and implementing positive behavioral supports to improve educational opportunities and lifelong success.

Teachers establish simple rules, or expectations, for the classroom community. Older preschool children participate in this process early in the school year. When issues arise, adults and children can reference the “Be safe, Be kind, Be respectful” guidelines as reminders about what kinds of behavior facilitate life in a group setting.
